Terry crews adds three more insights for men who want to step up and use a little bit of self-control.

Talking Points:

  • Self-discipline is necessary for everything you do in life. You have to motivate yourself to excel at your craft, but it’s not always easy.
  • Don’t wait for it to feel right. You won’t feel comfortable while you are creating new habits. Once those habits are formed, however, they will feel very natural.
  • Schedule breaks, rewards, and treats. When you feel like you’ve been doing well take some time to reward yourself and enjoy life.
  • Forgive yourself and move forward. There will be times when you fall back into an old habit. Don’t let those times spiral you downward.
  • Don’t look at your bad habits like they are unfixable. With some hard work and dedication, you can break those habits.
