Hey! I’m Kenzie Dwyer, the student content director at FLEXTALK.org. As a high school student, I wanted to help kids like me. Everyone’s got their own problems, and it’s easy to go through school without learning the real lessons you need to bring with you through life. The classroom teaches us about math and science and English, but where can you learn about identity and character and relationships? That’s why I started my first FLEXTALK student group, and eventually I want to see those kinds of groups all over the world. Open the tab below to learn how it works.

My Groups

I currently run three student groups: one at my school, one for a few girls from my church, and one on the phone with two sisters from Colorado. I want to impact all of these students until they’re ready to go out and impact others. At the end of the day, I think quality students will impact the world more than anyone else. But they need to believe it, and that’s where I come in. I’m trying to model for students like me how to get out there and make a real difference.

My Personality

I’m actually an introvert, but I think that’s a good thing. If a kid like me can go out there and start a student group, anyone can. That’s where the FLEXTALK tools come in – short videos that empower meaningful conversations. I’m in charge of keeping the student content fresh and interesting, so running my own student groups doubles as my “field research”. 

My Vision

This year I graduate from high school, and I’m also graduating with my associates degree. Next fall I’ll be attending the University of Utah as a business scholar, and I’m really excited about that chapter of my life. I’m hoping that what I learn can help be bring FLEXTALK student groups around the world. Students helping students – that’s the movement I’m hoping to inspire.
