Sex education can get really awkward. Unless you ask a not real doctor.

Talking Points:

  • STD stands for “sexually transmitted disease.” They are sometimes referred to as STIs, which are “sexually transmitted infections.” All of them are infections.
  • Some more common STIs are HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and genital warts.
  • Sexually transmitted disease are contracted from sexual contact. The only guaranteed way to not get an STD is to just not have sex. Wait until you’re married.
