Kids have more access to electronics now than ever before, so you need to help them set healthy boundaries with those electronics.

  • Electronics will have an impact on your kids, their emotions, communication skills, relationships, and their self-perception. You need to control how much impact electronics have on your kids. 
  • Set guidelines on electronic use for everyone in your family. One good rule is to not allow your kids to use their electronics when they are alone in their bedrooms. This rule is especially important if you have teenagers.
  • You also have to follow all of the rules you have set for your kids. You need to teach your kids how to be disciplined with their own electronics by being disciplined with yours.
