Thoughts come and go all the time, and you can’t control when a thought enters your head but you can control what you do with them!

Talking Points:

  • Tip #1: Don’t overthink it. You have over 6,000 thoughts a day and you won’t know why you have them.
  • Tip #2: Just kick it out! Any time a weird thought comes into your head, you have to just say to yourself “that’s a silly thought!” And then kick it out!
  • Tip #3: Talk to someone. Go to your parents or teacher and say, “I have really been struggling with this thought lately, can you help me figure it out?”

  3. We all have lots of thoughts and some of them might be weird or bad. What are some things you can do to get rid of bad thoughts?
  4. Who are some people you could talk to about your thoughts? Why is it good to talk things out with someone instead of holding it in?
  5. Is there a step you need to take based on today’s topic?
