You’ll never get victory over your addiction until you’re ready to start telling the truth about it.

Talking Points:

  • You’ll never beat your addiction unless you’re willing to tell the truth about it.
    • Tell the truth to yourself. Quit lying to yourself and cutting yourself slack and making excuses about your addiction. If you want to get better, you’ve got to get honest.
    • If you’re married, you have to share the truth with your spouse. Lack of honesty will damage your marriage.
    • If you have kids, you have to share the truth with your kids. Parents don’t want their kids to lose their innocence or deal with adult issues, but they probably already have some sense of your issues.
