Empathy is understanding and sharing in the feelings of others!

Talking Points:

  • #1: Put yourself in their shoes. Try to feel what they are feeling as if it happened to you.
  • #2: Let them know you feel their pain. Say something like, “that really stinks, are you ok?”
  • #3: Offer help in any way you can. If they fell, offer to get them an ice pack or bring them a special treat to cheer them up.
